主要从事有机功能分子设计、合成及应用等方面的研究工作,包括荧光分子探针的构建、纳米荧光材料的制备、生物传感等。先后主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、青年基金项目、湖北省自然科学基金面上等项目10余项。以第一/通讯编辑形式在Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Chem. Sci.,Biomaterials, Anal.Chem.,Chem. Eur. J.等国际权威学术期刊上发表科研论文近二十余篇,授权中国发明专利3项。
